What We Fabricate
Fabrication connected to the finished product
FES is not a job shop cutting parts to a drawing and shipping them blind. Fabrication here is connected to engineering on the front end and real-world use on the back end.
Aluminum fabrication
Apparatus bodies, compartment enclosures, panels, and framing cut, formed, and welded from aluminum.
Metal fabrication
Cutting, forming, and welding for brackets, mounts, structural members, and specialty components.
Vehicle bodies
Full body construction from framing through skin, built on fixtures and checked against the design.
Compartments and storage
Compartment interiors, shelving, racking, drawer systems, and equipment storage configured around what the user has to carry.
Specialty components
One-off and low-volume parts that support a larger build or solve a specific equipment problem.
Contract and prototype work
FES is prepared to apply its fabrication capabilities to contract fabrication and prototype projects that fit the shop's experience.
The Shop
Cut, form, weld, inspect
Material moves through the shop in a straight line: sawing and cutting, forming, fixturing, welding, and inspection. The equipment matters, but the people running it matter more. The same fabricators who weld apparatus bodies weld everything else that carries the FES mark.

Standard of Work
Welds that have to hold
FES learned fabrication in a market where failure is not an inconvenience. A compartment that racks, a mount that fatigues, or a seam that cracks puts equipment and people at risk. That background sets the bar for every fabrication project we accept, whether it rides on apparatus or not.
